Before l met with this attorney in support of an accused l saw his reviews. Feeling uncomfortable l wanted to reserve the right to hire an attorney for the accused if necessary. Upon meeting with this attorney l noticed that he did not have any paperwork or a file for his client. This indicated that he lacked preparation prior to the meeting and made me wonder if this was going to turn out okay he then asked his client for their original paperwork without having me copies of the original paperwork to allow the criminally accused to adequately prepare their own defense while waiting for him to discover what the person was being charged with or review the paperwork not readily available to the client but this was something that I noticed immediately and after listening to him ask questions not take notes not have any information which made me wonder why he wanted the client to drive all the way to his office in the first place realizing that this could turn into a disaster I asked him if you need money let me know if this is what it will take to get you in a defense mode. he assured me that he would have whatever paperwork was necessary keep in touch and so I gave him the benefit of the doubt I explained to him also that since he does civil matters that I would like to schedule a meeting with him to be able to discuss possible civil action against a particular company but in a nutshell he did not call he did not show up to court the client sat there for hours unaware that this person was not going to show up he claimed very rudely when he returned my phone call that he was on vacation on that particular date and he sent a fill in counselor to fulfill his obligation however nobody approached the client the client sat and cheektowaga for approximately 4 hours and was the last person to be called I left him a message and said that this was unprofessional give me a call back when he called me back he was very nasty very rude very inappropriate with the way he handled the conversation is if he was in trial and I passed the phone but then called his secretary and informed his secretary that he was very rude and that he has a professional license and in order to keep a professional license you must remain professional and ethical at all times that his very rude and argumentative call was totally out of whack considering his professional title and that he must remain aware that if it has not happened you always retain the right to file a formal grievance or complaint against an attorney for unethical mannerisms and that maybe if I had have said this to him personally he may not have taken it the right way but that there was no call nor any message from records will indicate same and that his inability to meet his court date should have been made known to the criminally accused and possibly rescheduled before having to sit for four plus hours. He called me back arguing doing everything except using profanity. I told him that I would write a review and will consider filing a formal complaint with the bar association formal grievance committee. If I could offer a 16th of a star I would have. I don't think a full star is at all fair and would never recommend this combative unprofessional unethical mannered counselor. Not sure if he is biased towards color or just not able to defend his assets but pick another attorney. After reading the reviews, you will. Be kind to others and respect your commitments and I promise it's the magic that makes the dreams come true. Disrespect the public and the public dissolves trust. Once public trust is lost, one can imagine what this does to your civil or criminal proceeding. Choose your advocate wisely or be ready to use grievance for ultimate resolve.

Handled my case quickly & well after picking up from another attorney's lack of performance. I was thankful to have him representing me.
