My DUI charges; a nightmare lasting from September 2025 to April 2026 were completely dropped; I hired Jessica Briscoe who saw me through the darkness and HIGHLY recommend her services; as my attorney I found her kind, caring, empathetic and and and an irresistible force the DA of Teller county could not withstand. I’ve written a summation below to provide more insight but my goal in writing this is to stand witness and to provide you with my experience in working with Jessica Briscoe, should you ever need her services I cannot speak highly enough of her character and fortitude.

I was wrongfully arrested for suspicion of DUI in Teller County; Cripple Creek. I do not drink or do drugs; i took a scenic drive into the mountains and was descended upon by 6 cripple creek police officers; they were very hateful and refused to allow me the courtesy of discussing the matter; immediately I understood I was being profiled (I am of mixed descent and gay); instead they cuffed me, impounded my car and hauled me to the hospital where they forced a blood sample for their suspicion; i was held overnight and released with orders from teller county to set up a process of weekly drug testing that cost me $150 a week for ~ 6 months; the papers they gave me to follow the judges orders were outdated and none of the contact information was current; i had felt a great deal of prejudice during my encounter with these officers and fearful they were pushing to set me up to for not following through on their orders because they gave me outdated information; i hired an attorney to help see me though their wickedness; Jessica Briscoe.

She was there for me, my light in this darkness suddenly forced upon me and a great relief came as she shone the light of truth on my behalf into this dark situation; she kept me up to date, was very compassionate to listen to my situation and take that information and turn it into legal weapons forged back against these unruly “peace officers” that definitely over reached their authority. Even when the blood results they forced me to take came back completely negative they persisted with the draconian orders for weekly drug testing which i could not afford unless my friend had not helped me; they were prolonging this suffering hoping that i would slip up and not fulfill the judges orders so they could then bring new charges since the DUI was proven unjust; Jessica pushed for a speedy trial to force a jury case due to the strange and asinine maneuvers of the DA of Teller county not communicating and dragging the suffering out; though correspondence had gone on for months between Jessica and the DA the DA never spoke or responded to any communications indicating his game of waiting for me to mess up as his only reason to remain silent so he could bring new charges; he waited until the very day that trial was to be set and then dropped all the charges and the judge suddenly dismissed the entire case. If i had not had Jessica I fear i would not have been able to cut through the foolishness of the Cripple Creek/Teller County prejudices I endured and that for no reason at all they wanted to have me behind bars, ruining my life, just because I had to audacity to take a scenic drive through their town.

I recently had Jessica Briscoe on a sticky situation in Elbert County, even though the end verdict was guilty after going to trial this was no faults of Jessica‘s. She maneuvered The overbearing, blind siding, extraordinarily bias, courtroom, and judge like a boss I must say you put this woman in the corner. She can get her way out. She also went above and beyond on a peel process is will try for ever grateful for.

Jessica‘s everything you need an attorney understanding feisty and knows how to maneuver in impossible situations. Keep fighting for rights seems a law-enforcement for God we have them.

Jessica was amazing. She made me feel seen and heard and taken care of. All you want in these situations is to know you're getting the best possible outcome and Jessica did just that. Can't recommend her enough. Diane was also very kind and helpful throughout this entire process.
