This office has the worst communication and settling a claims. They give you stories stating that you never mailed or even heard from the person, I wish state farm never had me deal with them. We were never paid for any settlement that they said.

Dont know how the attorneys are, but the FIRST impression with the front receptionist is the reason i would not want to encounter this law firm.
Today was unsettling because i encountered the front desk receptionist Octavia. She was rude, very unprofessional & unpleasant to talk to. I called to the office due to miscommunication with the attorney Courtney. Although she has been pleasant to work with, it was Octavia that has made my review on here a 1 star!
I called to speak with Courtney after emails had been sent, & voicemails had been left 3 days prior. When explained to Octavia she disregarded what i said and replied "you need to keep calling , i cant reach her she is not on the same floor as me or i can transfer you to Kim" . I asked "who was she, & would she be able to help?" And she said "ask her yourself ". I immediately was caught off guard and was flabbergasted because why the attitude and who made you mad this morning?
I asked what her name was before she transferred me and she declined and next i heard was the phone ringing, im guessing for Kim's line.

I hung up and decided to drive to the office (which luckily is only 8min away from my house).
When i arrived Octavia energy was reeking of negativity as soon as i informed her i was who she spoke with on the phone. I then asked what her name was and she said it, and proceeded with "how can i help you ". I explained to her again and she continued to dish out negative remarks and an ugly tone of voice.
I asked to speak to someone else other than her, & a Katie came out to understand what was going on.
While explaining to Katie what my questions were, Octavia kept interrupting me yelling across the lobby (ahhhh my anxiety was thru the roof because WHY are you being so damn unprofessional is this nice establishment) ??
Katie informed me that Courtney was out about to go into labor And that she would see what she can help with regarding my claim.
OCTAVIA COULDVE JUST COMMUNICATED THAT ON THE PHONE! (Idk if the pregnancy is a secret, but clearly cant be because Katie informed me, but just drama for no reason)
Im just very disappointed in that behavior from a front desk receptionist, i would NEVER allow this! You are peoples first line if contact for this business and you should want to make someone's day when they talk to you. (Im a bartender, i interact with people daily!) People feel energy, and maybe she was just having a bad monday. But this was a bad experience for me.

As an attorney I know that you hope you never need an attorney. My son was in a minor car accident that was not even his fault while driving the truck I purchased for him. He and I were both sued for an exhorbitant amount of money where there were no injuries and he was not at fault. This was a very stressful time for myself and my son, but Kyle Joyce was so kind and compassionate and caring. With the help of Kyle and his team, State Farm refused to settle and we had a four day jury trial that ended in a verdict in our favor. Kyle was there every step of the way. He always communicated with us, kept us in the loop when needed (even post trial) and was so kind and compassionate. He made a terribly stressful situation for my family so much easier, and most importantly, JUSTICE PREVAILED. I am forever grateful for the personal attention Kyle provided during this terrible time.
