I set up a phone consultation appointment, and while they spammed my email with reminders that my appointment was coming up, they couldn’t seem to remember the appointment themselves….perhaps they should set email reminders for themselves. Because of this I waited 4 days that could have been used contacting and consulting with a competent law firm. In my opinion, if a law firm can’t make an appointment for a consultation on time, I have no confidence they can do anything on time and would not trust them to handle any legal troubles in a timely manner.

I used Brian M. Douglas and Associates for my March 2025 real estate closing and the experience was highly unprofessional. The firm completely failed to communicate a delay in closing. I was left at the closing table with zero explanation after Rick simply stood up and left the room. Furthermore, because the seller was a “mail away” there was an expected delay, that the firm failed to disclose to me beforehand. When I emailed and called Morgan later that day to ask for clarification, my messages were completely ignored. I do not recommend this firm due to their severe lack of communication and unprofessional conduct.

So far so good. I hired the firm to help me with an estate matter where my half sister was assigned executor to an estate that I'm a beneficiary to. My half sister is not a beneficiary. This is a simple open and close estate matter. My half sister decided to sit on this for 2.5 years and cut communication with me. I believe she was hoping I would just give up and go away so she could siphon off the remaining assets in the estate. She already has a history of stealing money, so this created a lot of stress for me. Brian and Bailey helped me get her removed as executor. Such a relief. Now they are working on getting me assigned as successor executor so I can finally close out this estate matter. Brian is very down to earth and comes across as extremely knowledgeable. It was great having him in the room with me as the settlement was mediated. Bailey has been very helpful via email communication as we navigate through this estate matter.

I cannot thank Brian Douglas and his team enough for everything they did for me and my daughters. From the beginning, they believed in my case and fought for me every step of the way. They were always honest with me, kept me informed, and never stopped advocating for my family. They didn't just look for an easy settlement; they were fully prepared to take my case through trial and fought tirelessly until the very end to achieve the best possible outcome. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, I was awarded primary physical custody of my daughters. I will always be grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and determination. I hired this team based on the reviews. Worst mistake I ever made. They do not answer emails or return calls. They leave legal questions unanswered for weeks, which is against Georgia Bar rules. I never received a proactive update or callback without following up myself. A scheduled call was missed with no outreach to reschedule. Because of all this, I submitted a formal termination notice and have received no response for going on two weeks about my case files, also against Georgia Bar Rules. I would not recommend this firm.
