I hired this team based on the reviews. Worst mistake I ever made. They do not answer emails or return calls. They leave legal questions unanswered for weeks, which is against Georgia Bar rules. I never received a proactive update or callback without following up myself. A scheduled call was missed with no outreach to reschedule. Because of all this, I submitted a formal termination notice and have received no response for going on two weeks about my case files, also against Georgia Bar Rules. I would not recommend this firm.

I retained Brian Douglas to represent my company in a property dispute. Unfortunately, my experience was marked by persistent communication problems. Many emails went unanswered for extended periods, and several scheduled phone calls were missed without follow-up.
During the representation, I authorized a settlement offer that I later learned had never been communicated to opposing counsel. When I eventually contacted opposing counsel directly, they confirmed they had not received responses to settlement communications for months.
Because of these delays, the matter remained unresolved much longer than expected, which created additional complications for my project. Based on my experience, the level of communication and responsiveness did not meet the standard I expect from legal representation.

I used Brian M. Douglas and Associates for my December 2025 real estate closing. This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with any service provider.
My mortgage company, myself, and others provided advance notice to the office about a time-sensitive wire transfer requiring verification. I had a strict December 12th employer deadline for relocation reimbursement.
On December 11-12, 2025, multiple parties tried repeatedly to reach the office to verify the wire: Goldman Sachs (my bank), LPL Financial (my wealth manager), my mortgage company, and me personally - all making multiple calls over 1.5 days. Every time we were told “nobody is available.” I later learned staff were working during these attempts. The office had successfully verified a previous wire days earlier using the same process, so they knew exactly what was needed.
I missed my December 12th deadline due to their failure to verify the wire, causing significant relocation-related costs. Ironically, after the deadline passed, I wired a much larger amount for closing and the office verified it immediately.
I tried multiple times to resolve this professionally: communicated directly with the office, sent a formal demand letter requesting reimbursement for costs I incurred, resent it via overnight delivery when the first was returned, and gave them 15 days to respond. The office signed for the letter on January 8, 2026.
Their response? Complete silence. Zero acknowledgment. Nothing.
I have filed a formal complaint with the State Bar of Georgia.
This firm showed selective availability when it suited them, complete refusal to take accountability for their negligence, and won’t even respond when given multiple opportunities to make it right. I gave them every chance to handle this professionally. They chose silence. Cannot recommend.

Unresponsive Office Cost Me Money, Refused to Make It Right

I hired Brian M. Douglas and Associates LLC for my December 2025 real estate closing. The experience has been the worst I've had with any professional service.
The Problem:
My mortgage company, myself, and others sent advance notice about an incoming wire requiring verification, with a strict deadline I needed to meet for employer relocation reimbursement. Multiple follow-ups were sent to the office.
For 1.5 days (Dec 11-12), multiple financial professionals couldn't reach the office to verify the wire:
Goldman Sachs (my bank) - repeatedly told staff weren't available
LPL Financial (my wealth manager) - same response
Mortgage company - multiple attempts
Me - ignored then told office "closed early"
I was later informed that staff were working during these attempts. The office had already verified a prior wire successfully, so this was a routine task the team had done before.
The Cost:
I missed my December 12th deadline and incurred significant relocation-related costs as a direct result.
The irony? After my deadline passed, I wired a much larger amount for closing and the office verified it immediately.
My Good Faith Efforts to Resolve:
I tried multiple times to work with them professionally:
Initially attempted to communicate directly with the office to resolve the matter without formal demands
When that failed, sent a certified demand letter requesting reimbursement for the costs I incurred due to their negligence
When the first letter was returned due to addressing error, I paid for overnight delivery with signature confirmation
Gave them clear options: reimbursement or insurance information
The office signed for the letter on January 8, 2026
The Response:
ZERO. No call, no email, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Complete silence despite multiple opportunities to resolve this professionally.
Action Taken:
Due to their complete lack of response and professional accountability, I have filed a formal complaint with the State Bar of Georgia.
Bottom Line:
Unprofessional, unresponsive, and unwilling to take accountability for mistakes. Cost me real money and won't even respond when given multiple chances to make it right. Complete lack of professional integrity. Avoid.
