I hired Attorney Brittany M. Dixon at The Litigation Corner for my DeKalb County custody/legitimation case and was extremely disappointed with the representation.
In my experience, communication was very poor and important deadlines were missed. Opposing counsel filed a motion to compel, and even though I gave Ms. Dixon all of the documents and financial information she asked for, no response was ever filed. I repeatedly reached out and was told things would be handled, but nothing was done. My case was later dismissed, and the judge stated it was because my attorney failed to respond.
Throughout the time she represented me, calls and emails often went unanswered for long periods, and when I did get through, I felt brushed off and not taken seriously, even when I was clearly worried about the risk to my case.
Because of all this, I had to hire new counsel and I am in the process of filing a complaint with the State Bar. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this attorney or this firm and would urge potential clients to look elsewhere.

I would NOT recommend Attorney Brittany Dixion or Litigation Corner to anyone with something important on the line. I hired her for a child support modification case, and the experience was extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Throughout the process, it became clear she was more interested in cooperating with the opposing attorney than advocating for me. It honestly felt like they were trying to “swap me out” and work together against my best interests. Instead of fighting for me, she joined the other side in attempting to inflate my child support. The situation got so bad during negotiations that I literally walked out of the courtroom after realizing she was not on my side.

I ended up having to continue the case on my own because her representation was useless and harmful. If you have anything to lose, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. This is not the attorney or firm you want to trust with your future.

I would strongly caution anyone considering working with Attorney Dixon. I retained her services in September 2022, paying a $3,800 retainer. Since then, she has consistently failed to follow through. No returned calls, no adherence to scheduled appointments, and little to no progress on the work she agreed to do.

In June 2025, I formally requested to end the attorney-client relationship due to her lack of professionalism and results. Since then, I have been requesting a refund of my unused retainer. Despite numerous attempts to contact her, she has refused to schedule a call, failed to provide updates, and has yet to issue my refund. It has now been over 30 days, and I am still waiting.

This type of behavior is unprofessional, unethical, and deeply disappointing. As a client, I expected honesty, accountability, and communication, none of which I received. I cannot in good faith recommend her services to anyone.
