Fairell Firm was a much needed breath of fresh air to my case. I had overwhelming evidence against my ex and it seemed no one wanted me to win custody of my children even though the psychological abuse was evident. I had a previous attorney & mediator that wanted to settle because it was in their best interest to get paid without doing any real work. I was told my case was stalled indefinitely due to several reasons mainly based on my guardian's health condition. It was deflating/discouraging especially when you consider the financial toll along with the emotional one during custody battles. Joi & Mariah took on my case with a very small window to get caught up and I must say I was very impressed. Joi read through the details of my case and laid out the facts both good/bad and immediately got in touch with the guardian. I appreciated this because I don't like it when people dance around the truth or waste time. My closest friends know you're going to get an honest opinion based on facts when we deal with each other and Joi was no different. There's no other way to make an accurate assessment of what to do in a situation otherwise. Joi & Mariah laid out the situation, options, and possible outcomes throughout the duration of my case. My previous attorney often times left me wondering what the next step would be like and I had no prior meeting before mediation. Had I not been aware of the situation, I would've been bamboozled to sign a settlement with hardly anything I wanted but a little extra time with my children. My ex thrived on not following the parenting plan and making her own rules while simultaneously claiming abuse. Mariah delivered a detailed parenting plan that reduced interactions with my ex wife and clarified several previous discrepancies. Joi and Mariah got my case settled with a great outcome in 6 months after battling for nearly 2 years. I have no doubt that Joi and Mariah would've stopped my ex from abusing my children for years had I contacted them sooner. Now I'm just happy I can count on them to be there in the future if the need arises.

The quality of service provided by The Fairell Firm exceeded our expectations! Attorneys Fairell & Mitchell represented my husband in a professional manner that was efficient as well as understanding of his needs. I personally was not their client but as the wife & stepmom, I witnessed first-hand how years of litigation affected our family. Please do your research when selecting an attorney. The difference between the previous attorney (who shall remain unnamed) and The Fairell Firm was night and day. The previous attorney was with him through court ordered mediation that lasted approximately 8 hours with no resolution and was on the case about 1.5 years. After hiring The Fairell Firm, my husband’s court case against his ex for custody modification was settled out of court in less than 6 months without court ordered mediation. They got up-to-speed on his case so quickly it surprised me. I’m not saying The Fairell Firm would have settled his case in 6 months had they been on the case from the start. Courts are not known for being fast and it is not common to get everything you want in litigation. In my opinion, if my husband was represented by the Fairell Firm from the start, his case likely would have settled at court ordered mediation which happened about 8 months after he filed. I wanted to take the time to personally thank The Fairell Firm for helping our family! My husband will hire them again if the need arises and I will continue to recommend them.
