Phil is friendly and the office staff is nice but he is inept as a family lawyer. I should've listened to my gut when he couldn't articulate a plan, go over a detailed strategy, offer past experience or guess at odds. I spent almost a year and several thousands dollars on an outcome I feel would've been better had I not hired any lawyer.

He did absolutely nothing to advocate for my position or to correct past mistakes made. The process was delayed and drawn out at every turn and at the hourly rate I see why. I was charged thousands of dollars for "trial prep" for everything to just be decided without me behind closed doors and a trial avoided all together. No details were ever discussed with me, I was just told this is what it is we can file a motion later to fix it. If you don't want to pay $300/ hour for someone to jerk you around hire a different lawyer or file the motions yourself.

This case was family law I cannot speak to any other areas. To clear I wasn't trying to take my ex for everything and get sole custody or asking for an unfair/ unreasonable outcome. I was asking for a proportionate split and that was not achieved.

Outstanding representation from start to finish. Professional, knowledgeable, and extremely skilled. Phillip handled my case with confidence and precision, keeping me informed every step of the way. I always felt supported and knew I was in capable hands.
The staff is just as impressive — friendly, organized, responsive, and truly caring. Every interaction was professional and efficient, and they made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
If you want an attorney who truly fights for you and a team that stands behind you 100%, this is the one to call. Highly recommend.
If you’d like, I can tighten it up for Google or make it even more bold and powerful.

Phil Sturtz comes across as a personable enough guy, but his handling of our case was irresponsible and unprofessional. We first met in Oct. 2025, and by Jan. 2026 he’d accomplished absolutely nothing. He repeatedly told us he could review our documents and relevant statutes in about two weeks’ time. Two weeks would pass. We’d give him another two weeks and then call. Both he and his staff would ignore our calls and emails for several more weeks. We went round and round this cycle for three months! Phil, you either need classes in time management or in client ethics. If you don’t have the time for a case, just say so. But don’t string clients along with repeated empty promises of progress on their case. If you have no time or interest in a real estate case, just say no and don’t take our money for a consult.
