As Mr. Rivera stated, and did so very accurately. Nearly took the words out of my mouth. Even when a person is falsely accused of domestic assault (by someone who has a home camera system) and that person conveniently deletes the cameras and the evidence on them, the charged party is still forced to pay expensive court fees and lose a CPL due to a PPO. This was all also done during Covid, so I figured it would have been an easy “throw away” case. But nope, not even close. Now I know everyone who’s charged, guilty or not, will say they’re innocent, deleted camera proof and still getting convicted seemed asinine.

To make it even worse, I got a call months later claiming I never paid Gust Law and wanted me to do the footwork to prove I did. Anyone who has dealt with Gust knows that to even sit down at his desk, and have his cats crawl all over you, you have to pay first.
