I would not refer you to Kathy Beeman if you were only seeking custody of your goldfish.

My only regret in my recent custody battle is hiring the wrong attorney. Kathy seemed to tell me the things I wanted to hear but none of those things ever actually happened. Obviously we can't predict how these things go but we can prepare and I feel as if my attorney simply did not care or was under prepared.

In the beginning there were some things about my attorney that made me nervous and when I asked for the input of my peers they all told me I was just a number to Kathy. She knew I didn't have a lot of money and was treating my case as such. I believe those people were right. Which feels terrible knowing I still spent 1000s on this life altering case.

All I'm saying is do your research meet with multiple attorneys ask lots of questions. Write their answers down. Compare and do not make the decision lightly.
