Beau Broussard at Withers, Brant, Igoe, & Mullennix

Do not hire Beau for a GAL. Beau did not follow any evidence in his case with me and legally helped my ex wife in taking my children that were in my care. He is a biased attorney on all levels. All I had was false accusations coming at me and I proved over and over again to the courts that I was innocent and Beau still chose to take the side of false accusations and never even looked at the facts. Beau even agreed with the opposing attorney that I would not be able to enter in the facts that I had before the judge. It has been a heart breaking year to have lost my children under a system that doesn’t perceive facts and only their feelings but that is the way the system is designed. Here are the key facts: Beau showed up at my house un announced several times during dinner hours and found that the kids had a good meal in front of them and were watching wholesome movies and/or television. He found that I was taking care of my kids and they were in good care, otherwise he would have called the authorities on me. He witnessed my ex wife accusing me of being a drunk and a drug addict and I never was because I went through Soberlink and took drug tests and voluntarily urinated in a cup after every weekend I had my children to prove that these allegations were false. Even with all this evidence, Beau still went to the courts and claimed I was unfit. Even after Social Services and the KCPD were at my house multiple times due to my ex wife claiming this or that were happening on a “hot line” call the police nor social services found any wrong doing, Beau still chose to decide to side with a false accuser. I admit, I don’t like my ex wife because she is a constant liar. I’ll admit I did send her some distasteful text messages after she pulled her antics. I’ll admit I am not a perfect human being. Being distasteful to your ex wife has nothing to do with your relationship with your children that I have now been denied. Do not hire this man to watch over your children because he does not look at real evidence, only his feelings, about situations and you really don’t want people involved in your life that can’t see simple evidence.

Terrible experience. Important documents were sent to the wrong address, which significantly delayed the entire process. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

Beau was very knowledgeable and professional. From the get go, he explained the process and made sure to answer any questions or address any concerns that I had. We initially talked on the phone, I retained him and the majority of the communication/paperwork was handled through emails, which made things more convenient for me. He made my first (and hopefully last) experience needing a lawyer, pretty pain free. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.
