I can’t say enough good things about Peter Horan and the entire team at Genus Law Group. Peter and everyone involved helped me work through a very complicated child support situation that had been hanging over me for a long time, and throughout the entire process they were professional, responsive, patient, and incredibly helpful. What stood out most was that I never felt like I was just another case. Peter and his team took the time to explain what was happening, kept me informed, answered my questions, and worked hard to help get everything straightened out. Every person I dealt with made the process easier, and I truly felt like the whole team was working together to help me. They were also very fair and reasonable when it came to the financial side of things, which meant a lot to me and my family. This entire experience was a huge blessing. Genus helped me with my divorce case and were a game changer! The opposing attorney did everything in their power to draw the process out unnecessarily, made false claims, and everything they could think of to just try and win everything for their client. Once I was assigned Erika Poindexter all of the nonsense stopped, the other side was held accountable, and she forced the process forward helping me divorce my now ex-wife. I could not have asked for a better attorney! I felt heard, seen, and I was treated fairly. She helped keep the case on what mattered fair treatment and what was in the best interest of my son. I am so happy with the services provided!

Absolutely would not recommend based on my personal experience. The attorney Peter Horan that does the consultations will sell you the firm and then they’ll stick you with an inexperienced attorney with no backbone. I always give business’ with negative reviews a chance because I know not everyone is going to be satisfied but believe the negative reviews with this law firm. They will nickel and dime you to death, this ended up being the worst $17k I’ve ever spent.
