I hired Mr Somogi with the purpose of going to the trail in ugly divorce and I needed an attorney who won’t be intimidated or friendly with the opposite counsel, making deals ahead behind my back. I had mixed feelings about him as I had some doubts about him or his billing or preparedness or effective communication. I actually let him go in November 2025 and I had some negative thoughts and some positive thoughts. We worked together for around 4-5 months only and my reason was that he represented me for the trail. I am still struggling with wrapping up my divorce and I have to say that everything is going to be alright. Why? Because Mr Somogi was the one putting the agreement on the record and he had his transcriptionist there writing everything down. ——} now months later as I am struggling to resolve everything and finish the judgment on my own and as I am arguing with opposing counsel who puts incorrect information/ omits information into his judgment and what I do? I go back to the transcript that I have to say wow! Is amazingly stated on the record and absolutely protecting me in so many ways. Every time I have to go and fight with my ex or the opposing counsel, I look at that transcript that he put on the record and I am thinking in my head. Thank you Mr Somogi. Today I read it again and I saw information that I forgot about and it’s actually important and I failed to put it on the judgment, then after I read it , I immediately started putting it into the judgment that I am rewriting. Thank to him and his excellent ability to speak in the court room and putting everything on the record so well and in a way that it protects me, that I have to say it out loud that he is extremely good at this. He has his flaws so that is why I couldn’t put 5 stars for overall experience. Also it took me 8 months since I let him go from my case. I did have some issues with him but those issues are meaningless when I look at the whole picture and how important his taking in court and his transcripts were. Every time I go back to them I just feel like wow this man is so smart and saved me from so many future or current issues that I just can’t keep it to myself. I just see everything now and how the opposite counsel twists facts to their clients advantage. And the ONLY thing that is protecting me is what Mr Somogi said in the courtroom and put it on the transcript. I would definitely recommend him ( but don’t expect holding hands, except that he will go and get it done). Thank you Mr Somogi for saving me from so many disputed by how you were able to put everything on the record. Very very strong and wise.

Best attorney ever! He is very caring, looks out for the best interest of the children, supportive and genuine. Highly recommend him.

I strongly disagree with the negative reviews I’ve seen. In my experience, Mr. Somogyi genuinely cares about achieving the best possible outcome for his clients. He is elegant in his approach, yet firm and assertive when it matters. His experience, professionalism, and effectiveness really stand out, and he continues to fight for you throughout the entire process.

Before working with him, I had two previous attorneys and unfortunately had very negative experiences. However, four different friends highly recommended Mr. Somogyi, and I’m extremely grateful that I took their advice.

I can’t thank Mr. Somogyi enough for his dedication and hard work. If you’re looking for someone who will truly advocate for you, I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

I recommend this guy all the time... to my anyone who asks me for a good divorce attorney. He is NOT, but once they have a consultation with him their spouse is not able to retain him. (Conflict of interest.) My former boss counseled me to have an appt. with him for this reason, but it was too late. My ex retained him. I would NEVER use or recommend him to anyone. . To me, he is soulless, and the epitome of a crappy attorney. His scruples are highly questionable. You just want to make sure he's not on the other side running up your legal expenses with delays, and mountains of unnecessary motions, and wasted time attending hearings where nothing happens. He was my ex's attorney, but he cost me a fortune, while putting me through emotional Hell. He didn't care about my kids or their welfare. At the end of the day, he didn't care about my ex either, because once the money ran out, he dropped him like a hot rock, leaving him to fight on his own. THAT part worked out for me.
