I hired this law office earlier this year for a simple matter that required a demand letter.
The attorney later provided me with an invoice, which he told me was the billing for the work completed. Based on that representation, I used that invoice to negotiate a settlement with the other party.

However, weeks later—after the case was essentially resolved and even after the firm contacted me to pick up a refund trust check—I suddenly received a second invoice with additional charges that were never discussed, never authorized, and were largely administrative in nature.

There was no prior notice, no explanation, and no communication that more fees would continue to accrue.
This put me in an extremely passive position and caused unnecessary confusion during the final stage of the matter.

I tried reaching out multiple times for clarification but received no clear explanation as to why additional billing was generated after the case appeared to be closed.

Lack of transparency in billing, poor communication, and unexpected invoices after the fact are not the kind of experience I would expect from a professional law office.

I would strongly recommend anyone considering hiring this firm to be extremely cautious, ask for everything in writing, and ensure all billing practices are clearly documented and disclosed upfront.
