It's hard to tell. He once told me I was the most difficult client he had ever had, I said thank you and moved on. But what makes me so difficult? Knowledge of the law, refusal to accept his word for anything, and a fierce internal sense of justice. Maybe. I think John is smart and wishes he had stayed in academia. Tennessee is a dumb place to try and practice the law, the folks in charge make it impossible, that's not the fault of the attorneys, right?
