Mr. Brad Carter not only gave me representation but he gave me strength, courage, and friendship. I'll never forget my first morning meeting with Brad. I was so exhausted from the whirlwind of my situation that I had fallen asleep in the lobby and I had only been there a couple of minutes! I felt a hand on my shoulder and woke up startled but immediately heard a gentle voice say "hi I'm Brad". I was a dysfunctional mess and Brad led me through the entire process with compassion, empathy, and patience. Most of all he had the structure and the leadership to get the job done. There were times when he suggested some strategies for me to choose from, and there were times when he just knew things had to be done a certain way. In the end I knew I had come through it in the best possible way I could have, and at the end of it all I gained a friend. I couldn't have done it without him.
