Lonnie R. Hoover, Attorney

This is my experience with Mr Hoover and I will give him 2 stars because I believe he was able to get the DA to drop my other 3 charges. It could have been worse for me. However my feelings are this lawyer did not work on my behalf. I was completely sold on his experience and his time as a judge. But once I gave him my $5000 he treated me like I was already guilty of my crime. Don't get me wrong I know the law is the law in the state of Tennessee. But this lawyer did nothing for me. There's was no phone calls, no strategy, no advice, no nothing to soften the blow. As the case dragged along I researched other lawyers in Nashville and Franklin who gave their clients advice and things to do ahead of the actual court date to help soften the blow that was coming. Now I will say if you have got an easy winnable case and you got the money then he is the greatest Williamson county lawyer you can find but if your case is difficult then this is a DA attorney if I've ever seen one. Don't waste your money. I spent a lot of money with very little results I could have probably went cheaper or got a public defender and got the same jail time and out of pocket expense I have to pay. My advice is this like I said if your case is easy then he can work for you if it's not then stir clear or you'll end up like me with jail time and a ton of expensive expenses including his. I didn't get what I paid for if I could get refund and another lawyer I would. His selling point is pick a lawyer from the same town I know now and have heard since that's not the case. Go outside but to each their own. Lesson learned for me.Wish I had chose better. If there's ever a next time hopefully not. It will be an out of town lawyer. To each their own. Just my thoughts, feelings and experience. Good luck
