Katie represented me well in the beginning of my case but with time, when new opposing counsel was submitted, she did not want to continue to represent me and tried to get out of the commitment. But with my extra encouragement, she did continue to represent me. She was persistent in trying to get me to pursue full custody of my children when that was not necessarily the best interest of our children. I was and always will be an advocate of joint custody of our children in this time and age. Children need both of their parents in their lives unless there is significant evidence to oppose that. After our divorce was finalized by my request to settle, Katie was not in favor of this and wanted to pursue further court hearings to draw out the process and was somewhat disgruntled to be guided by me into a settlement. After the finalization of things, Katie refused to engage with most post divorce matters concerning the enforcement of the parenting plan and released the responsibility to a junior partner that was not invested in helping to protect my parental rights what so ever.

This firm is selective, as in if your case is a money driven for profit for all case, they will represent you, orherwise...they will drop ya like a hot potato. Their "engagement" rules mean, if we have time to help you and the money is there to be spent to help, we will help you, otherwise, you will be "let go" to their recommendations to seek out other counsel. And I did but when one counsel "lets you go", the next to represent you tends to wonder why...maybe there was an underlying political position but either way, it was disappointing.
