Lost amount in five digits due to delayed and wrong type of filing. One of the worst experiences with an attorney. Be careful about what they know. My case was very simple and they screwed it up.

With a project that was an important and urgent matter they put off for a week and made it sound like I had not done my part when I had in fact done all tasks as each was given to me for this project to move forward. When I complained they told me it would be done by close of business today (10/1/24). I relented and paid their $500 fee to review the contract and, what do you know, no word from them and the office is now closed. $500 is an expensive ride! Since law firms operate often with deadlines, how can anyone trust they will meet those deadlines - they certainly passed by 2 they had given to me as when they would have this project done.

UPDATE: I will change the 1 star to a 3. Reason being, Mr. Williams did stay late to discuss the document I asked for him to review. I wish I could give a 5 star, however, although I had signed the retainer contract on Sept. 19th @ 3:56 their time, nothing was done by their office to help things move forward until yesterday (after I grumbled). So, when I didn't hear anything all day until after my initial review (after 5pm their time) I presumed I was put off yet again. A quick email earlier in the day with just a handful of words would have helped so much!

Just a warning. The free consultation is great but the responses are really slow or nonexistent and other paralegals and attorneys are involved. We had a question on one matter that NEVER got answered. MOST importantly don’t pay the retainer! It is non refundable! I paid $3000 and did not receive a refund though the actual invoices totaled about $600.
