Closing firm on real estate transaction. Very poor communication regarding status of closing.

I was introduced to Ward Law office in January of this year to be the closing attorney on a property I was interested in buying. Lots of people in a local beckley Facebook group had recommended this firm. Long story short this law office found issues with the title before closing. (Thank goodness). Their attention to detail really saved me a lot of money, headache and legal issues down the road by bringing the title issues to my attention. Since I felt confident with their services and ability to find title defects I asked them to be the closing attorney on another property I wanted to purchase. It was a bit outside their normal service area but they still took care of me and I’m very grateful. We closed on the property today and everything went well.

As a first time home buyer (who’s also navigating this process while being out of state) I can’t say enough good things about Jen and my experience with this office. Jen answered all of my questions in detail (and I had a lot!) and she never made me feel like a burden or like I was bothering her. Her help throughout the process was incredibly valuable and I’m so thankful. I hope to use them in future transactions and I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a good closing attorney.
