I was introduced to Ward Law office in January of this year to be the closing attorney on a property I was interested in buying. Lots of people in a local beckley Facebook group had recommended this firm. Long story short this law office found issues with the title before closing. (Thank goodness). Their attention to detail really saved me a lot of money, headache and legal issues down the road by bringing the title issues to my attention. Since I felt confident with their services and ability to find title defects I asked them to be the closing attorney on another property I wanted to purchase. It was a bit outside their normal service area but they still took care of me and I’m very grateful. We closed on the property today and everything went well.

As a first time home buyer (who’s also navigating this process while being out of state) I can’t say enough good things about Jen and my experience with this office. Jen answered all of my questions in detail (and I had a lot!) and she never made me feel like a burden or like I was bothering her. Her help throughout the process was incredibly valuable and I’m so thankful. I hope to use them in future transactions and I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a good closing attorney.

Did your law firm really have a mutual friend go banging on the walls of a veteran couple home late at night?! An online video shows this firm made a mistake and the couple wasn't even supposed to be served a file complaint, and they didn't even have the decency to apologize. They had a friend trespass on this older couple's property and the guy was so rude! The couple were both veterans and deserved more respect than that. What is wrong with you people?? This couple tried to be so nice, I would have been calling the cops! Unbelievable!!

Do not use this firm. I literally had to chase a guy representing Ward Law off our property because he was trying to serve papers. Turns out Ward Law screwed something up, and we were never supposed to be served any papers. My wife called Ward Law several times and was only told that this guy was a friend of one of the attorneys. Very unprofessional.
