I am so happy with Nina as my Family Law Attorney. I feel very fortunate to have found her and her paralegal Autumn. My divorce journey started several years ago and has had its ups and downs over time. My thought process was to try to keep attorney's out of it and handle it on our own. That proved to be more challenging than expected. I initially hired another attorney, when I thought an agreement was in place, to just execute the paperwork needed, thinking all could really be done by mail and not in a courtroom. That choice of an attorney proved to be a mistake (as a woman unfortunately). Big lesson on cross your t's and dot your i's when choosing an attorney and a law firm to stand by your side at a time that will, more than likely, dictate the path of the rest of your life. Especially as a woman. I needed another attorney for an upcoming hearing as I wasn't willing to go into that hearing with my then current representation. I interviewed quite a few attorneys - probably 7 or 8. It would have been more, but a few were not taking on anymore clients. Within those few that were not taking more clients - 2 of them recommended Nina. I heard her name more than once. More than twice so I scheduled a consultation with her among others. Nina was my 3rd interview. I was interviewing attorneys with a trusted family member to lend me perspective. We both came away from our interview with Nina knowing she was going to be our choice, but.... I continued to do my due diligence in finishing out the rest of the interviews. Throughout, I knew Nina was the right choice to represent me. Once I hired Nina and Autumn (Autumn! An added Bonus!!) to represent me, she got right to work on preparing for my hearing in an extremely tight timeline. The hearing went my way because of Nina. She prepared me for the worst. Pulled no punches, but got me the best outcome. Whew! But our journey is not over. We are onto the next phase that has been very stressful. Nina has been honest and upfront with me the entire time. She has this way of telling you like it is without sounding like she's telling you like it is. Straight forward but empathetic. And I feel like she is straight forward but empathetic with my estranged spouse too which I actually appreciate. Nina has this uncanny ability to grasp, understand and articulate in communications exactly what the situation is and how the law applies to it. Remember this is a years long journey that she got her mind wrapped around pretty quickly. Nina is exceptional. The best choice for me.
