I want everyone to pay attention to the fact they don’t respond to anything but 5 star reviews. We hired Matt Last to represent my husband and he consistently was underwhelming and unimpressive. We asked for a change of venue. We asked him to look into Facebook messages. We told him to challenge the PSI because the officer knew my husband. We asked him to do so much and he did very little other than take our money. He came to sentencing with no notes and responded to nothing the judge or DA offered. It felt like he was scared to victim blame even when it was a complete lie. Do NOT hire Matt Last. Lazy is a nice word to describe him. My husband didn’t get his closing statement until he walked into court. All Matt had to say was he liked my husband and that should have been enough??? I don’t know if he has too much on his plate or what but other than walking me through what was happening, he didn’t do much as a defense. When I asked him what could have been done differently, instead of reflecting, he said nothing else could have been done. Highly don’t recommend.

Mr. Connor Helvig was very competent and professional. Very knowledgeable about this field of law (Revocation Hearings). Did an expert job and I couldn't be more pleased! The prosecutor of the hearing even told me that I was fortunate to have him as Counsel. I would highly recommend him!
