My experience with this law firm was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend their services to anyone based on my experience. I hired them expecting professional representation, timely communication, and competent legal assistance, but unfortunately, I felt let down throughout the entire process. The firm filed motions on my behalf that the court ultimately declined, leaving me feeling as though I had spent money on legal services that did not produce the results I had hoped for. As a result of my dissatisfaction, I decided to cancel their services. However, the financial experience of ending the relationship was just as frustrating as the legal experience itself. I was charged $375 for every email I sent and even for a phone call that lasted less than five minutes. These charges felt excessive, especially considering the lack of timely communication and the overall level of service I received. I understand that legal services come with fees, but I expected greater transparency, responsiveness, and value for the amount of money I was paying. What made matters worse was the refund process. Despite canceling my services before ever having to appear in court, I did not receive my full refund. I was left questioning why so much of my money was retained when I never even made it to a court appearance. To add to my frustration, it took more than two weeks for the firm to return the small amount of money I was told I would receive back. Communication was also a significant issue. Responses were slow, and the lack of timely updates only added to the stress of an already difficult situation. When you hire a law firm, you expect clear communication, reasonable turnaround times, and to feel as though your concerns are being taken seriously. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Overall, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and dissatisfied with both the service and the financial outcome. Between the motions the court declined, the high charges for emails and a very brief phone call, the incomplete refund, and the lengthy delay in receiving the remaining funds, I did not feel that my experience justified the amount of money I spent. I strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to carefully review the fee agreement, ask detailed questions about billing practices, and get a clear explanation of the refund policy before signing anything. Based on my personal experience, I would not choose this firm again.

Attorney Corey Saffold did an amazing job. He got the case dismissed before it even went to trial. Which saved me money , stress and time. Thank you for all that you do for the people.

Since he got sign to my case at the last moment he came in shooting and didn’t miss not once. He listen to my questions, concerns, doubts and etc to understand where I was at mentally with the whole case against me. And also to understand my direction I wanted to go with it. And then BOOM , HE MADE THE HALF COURT SHOT AT THE BUZZER BEATER FOR THE WIN!! Thank you Laster & associates for your dedication in securing my freedom..

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laster & Associates. From the very beginning, Ms. Laster and her team treated me with compassion, urgency, and professionalism. I originally had a different attorney at this firm who was doing an excellent job on my custody case. However, I was told he is no longer with the firm and in the middle of litigation, my case was transferred to Attorney Parker after he left the firm to open his own practice. I expressed concerns about the transfer and felt uncomfortable continuing with an attorney who was focused on starting a new law office during such an important stage of my case.

Unfortunately, communication became poor, witnesses I provided were never subpoenaed, and I felt my case was not properly prepared for trial. Despite having extensive evidence and even a favorable guardian ad litem recommendation, my case was lost and I ended up having to pay child support to the father.

While Attorney parker is no longer with this firm, I still believe the firm made a poor decision by transferring my case under those circumstances. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this law firm for a custody case.
