2nd post: I received the initial response about communication and ethical billing. I attempted to contact them as directed, first by phone call with Diana, who never returned my phone calls. The second communication was via email, as directed when I phoned the office again. I was told by the receptionist that they prefer to contact clients via email. There has also been no response to my email. The review response I received was for show purposes only, they had no intention of contacting me. Do not trust this firm.- This law firm is despicable, they cashed the retainer check and failed to do any of the work they were hired to do. Convinced us this was a "simple request", requiring the filing of paperwork for a non disputed name change of minors,. Months passed, the retainer amount dwindled, phone calls weren't returned, bookkeeper wouldn't or couldn't explain the use of the retainer fees. Five months later the lawyer (Justin) who convinced us to "trust him" finally returned a phone call and apologized that our case had "fallen through the cracks", followed by an offer to only refund the still remaining retainer, not any of the used retainer that even he could not explain it's use. He promised to speak to the senior lawyers about a refund. We have never heard from. Him again. We then called and contacted the office for the next 4 months, asking them to return the original documentation i provided for the name change. Don't trust this law firm. Would give negative stars if allowed.
