Will ghost you. Do not hire

I had an 8:30 AM consultation scheduled with this firm. When I did not receive the scheduled call, I called to confirm whether I had the correct appointment date and time. I politely asked if I might have written down the appointment incorrectly. I was told that they sometimes run behind because of high call volume, followed by, “If that’s a problem, maybe I’m not a good fit for you.” I was genuinely surprised by how quickly a simple scheduling question turned into that response. For John Treleven⁠- I completely understand that attorneys can run behind. My concern was not the delay, but how the situation was handled. As a potential client seeking legal guidance, I expected a more professional response. Based on this interaction, I decided not to move forward with the consultation.

So I sent some paperwork to McKenzie at least I think I did over a week ago. I’m not sure if I’m spelling her name right at first it seemed promising. I’ve called several times. I have not heard from her. It’s honestly a little disturbing because of the information that I sent. So I definitely will not be dealing with him even if I do hear from her. It was very disappointing because it seemed promising.

Ms. Mackenzie Martin was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was extremely helpful. Her knowledge of probate law was a great comfort during a stressful time. Cannot recommend enough!
