**Review of Attorney Carlos Lopez and Firm**

Hiring Queenan Law Firm and being represented by Mr. Carlos Lopez was one of the most disappointing legal experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was I charged the 33.33% contingency fee stated in the contract, but he also added an additional **$3,457.34 in “other fees”**—after previously telling me it would only be $2,300 before I agreed to settle; mind you that it is not even us going to trial.

On top of that, Mr. Lopez got me into settling by telling me that if I went to trial, the other party would uncover my past workers’ compensation during discovery and that I would likely receive less money. I now see this as a tactic to push me into a settlement I was not comfortable with.

He also gave me **inconsistent and misleading information** about the at-fault party’s insurance policy. At first, Mr. Lopez told me the other party carried a **$100,000 policy limit**, but later he changed his story, saying he wasn’t sure and that it might only be **$50,000**. This kind of back-and-forth left me feeling like he was not being honest or simply not competent.

Throughout the process, I felt misled, mistreated, and at times like I was dealing with an **inexperienced intern rather than a licensed attorney.** Lies, miscommunication, and broken promises defined my entire experience. I even reached a point where I just wanted him off my case completely.

Because of this conduct, I will be filing a **formal complaint with the Texas State Bar** against Mr. Lopez. What he did was not right, and no client should ever have to go through what I experienced.

**DO NOT trust this firm with your case, and especially do not trust Mr. Carlos Lopez.** He did me wrong, and I would never recommend his services to anyone.

You could not find more capable and caring attorneys! Kevin Queenan, Carlos Lopez, and the rest of the team leave no stone unturned in their meticulous preparation, investigating every possible angle to secure outcomes that consistently exceed expectations. I would highly recommend them.
