MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS LEGAL REPRESENTATION — CONCERNS FOR PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS I am sharing this review to describe my experience with the handling of my case and the concerns I had about the representation I received. My case was transferred from the father to his son. From my perspective, the transition was not accompanied by the level of communication or explanation I expected. I also had the impression that the son was not interested in taking on my case. During the representation, I experienced what I considered to be problems with professionalism, punctuality, and communication. There were occasions when scheduled appointments were late or did not occur, and I did not always receive timely responses to my questions or concerns. These experiences left me feeling that my case was not receiving the attention I expected. The divorce resulted in the loss of financial interests from my perspective, and I remain deeply dissatisfied with the outcome, I did not feel heard, and was frustrated with the representation I received.that was bias. It felt my lawyer was representing the opposition. Throughout the process, I often felt that my concerns were not being taken seriously and that the advocacy I received did not meet my expectations. He was unable to communicate to the judge effectively to create any resolution . I also perceived, at times, what I believed was bias against me as a woman. I recognize that this is my perception of the interactions and treatment I experienced. Overall, the experience was extremely stressful and left me feeling hurt, financially drained, and disappointed. I believe prospective clients should carefully review the fee agreement, clarify who will be responsible for their case, understand how billing works during attorney absences or vacations, and review invoices closely. This review reflects my personal experience and perceptions of the representation I received.
