Very disappointing experience. I scheduled a consultation and was kept waiting for over an hour without adequate communication. I completely understand that attorneys can have demanding schedules, but appointments should be managed appropriately rather than leaving clients waiting for an extended period. What concerned me even more was the way I was treated when I called. The person who answered the phone was unnecessarily rude and showed very little compassion. People contacting an immigration law firm are often dealing with stressful and difficult circumstances, and they deserve to be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect. I hope the firm takes this feedback seriously and improves both its scheduling practices and the way prospective clients are treated over the phone.

I want to thank and congratulate the entire team at the Ortiz Law Firm. I highly recommend them; they are very professional and dedicated to their work. Since I began the process of obtaining my residency in 2017, Attorney Tessy Ortiz explained the entire process to me, as I was afraid I wouldn't qualify because my husband, who was American, had recently passed away. But she spoke to me honestly and told me that I qualified for residency without any problem, and in 2019 I became a resident. Now I began the process of obtaining my citizenship in October 2025, and in the second week of June 2026, I took my oath of allegiance. I am very happy and satisfied with the results. I also want to thank the paralegal, Marlene, as she handled all the preparation of my documents and answered all my calls and messages very quickly and with an excellent attitude. To Attorney Humberto, who performed wonderfully during my citizenship interview, and to interpreter Edwin, who gave an excellent interpretation. I also want to add that Attorney Ortiz is a very honest and loyal person to her profession and her principles. She speaks to people with complete sincerity, explaining whether or not they have a good chance of having a successful case based on their situation. She doesn't focus on taking advantage of people just to get their money, as has sadly been seen in other offices. This is what characterizes her and makes her a trustworthy and respectable person. Although in some cases the processing time is longer, you shouldn't lose faith. And don't hesitate to schedule a consultation and get good advice from someone who knows immigration law so that you can decide what is best for you according to your interests.
