Mrs. Lackey has represented me on several cases. All I can say is she is your go to for any legal issues!! She is the only one, I trust!!

Absolutely terrible communication, I never got a call about my traffick ticket being resolved - I had to email them because phones are never picked up and when you finally get whoever on the phone they want to be vague and short handed after you already paid for them to handle your case. After they handled my traffick ticket - I never got a correspondence and I had no idea that in Davidson county you only have 40 days to pay your court fees??? At least that’s what was communicated to me once I finally got someone named Angela or whatnot on the phone. Then they said because my 40 days was almost up that I needed to get an extension to get my fees paid and that they would email me the document to submit for me to get an extension. I had to follow up 3 to 4 times through email after I got off the phone to get them to attach the document to get my extension and then once I finally received it they sent it right back saying they forgot to fill it out and I needed to resign and resend to them. They never followed up with me if I got my extension or not. I had to go online to the Thomasville/Davidson portal to find and pay my court fees 30 days later hoping it was still okay to pay my fees today!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! Next time I’ll pay extra $100 elsewhere so I won’t have to endure lack of communication and poor quality legal customer service. I appreciate Selena taking care of this but her firm and the quality of customer service and the attention you get as as someone who retained Selena as an attorney to handle your case = .5 stars ⭐️. I hope yall get better.

Absolutely horrible communication

I highly recommend the Law Office of Selena Lackey! I was stopped by a state trooper in Lexington and received a $185 seat belt violation. A few days later, I received a letter from Selena Lackey’s office explaining how they could help and what their rates were. I checked around with other attorneys, and even my legal insurance couldn’t beat their price. Some other offices wouldn’t even take the case. Selena Lackey’s office made the entire process incredibly easy and handled everything for me. In the end, they got the ticket reduced to just $10 and kept anything from going on my driving record. Hopefully I won’t need their services again, but if I or anyone in my family or circle of friends ever does, I’ll definitely recommend them. Great price, great service, and they made the whole experience simple and stress-free!
