I engaged this law firm two years ago for a custody case, initially paying $2500. Unfortunately, circumstances escalated, leading us to pursue emergency custody. The firm advised an additional $1500 payment, bringing the total to $4000. However, the process stalled as our lawyer, who was preparing to run for Supreme Court judge, left us waiting.

We feel neglected and robbed, especially considering that we are being told that for anything else to be done, it’ll be an additional $1000 on top of what we’ve already paid. Moreover, we discovered that our lawyer that took our case, has ties with the opposing party, engaging in undocumented conversations. This has added a layer of distrust and frustration.

Furthermore, we’ve been informed that our lawyer failed to address a violation of the temporary custody agreement by the other party. When confronted, he merely stated, “I will speak with them,” leaving us without the necessary legal action.

I caution others to exercise caution and thoroughly vet legal representation to avoid similar challenges. The lack of transparency, additional financial burden, and apparent disregard for violations have been deeply disappointing.

My husband received some very serious charges from some illegal & dirty police tactics. Mr. Broadie was assigned as his public defender. From the beginning we were not happy with Mr. Broadie. He was rude, sarcastic, condescending & uninterested in anything accept my husband taking a plea deal that got him some expensive & demeaning punishments that he in no way deserved. This dragged on for 2 years bc of Covid. My husband is a former cop & knew everything the police did wrong. To Mr Broadie's disdain we stuck to our guns an insisted on a trial. We almost caved a few times bc even though we knew we were right the pressure was mounting. My husband missed the 1st day of his trial due to miscommunication w/ Mr. Broadie. Under a $150,000 bond & in full body chains my husband walked into the courtroom ready to fight this. Ngl, we were scared. From "all rise" Mr. Broadie turned into a rockstar. With only one motion to argue that my husband & I prepared, Broadie exposed the officer involved for the remedial half wit that he is. The prosecutor didn't stand a chance. Everybody across the board was mad & defeated. Mr. Broadie is definitely a tough nut to crack but a master at his craft. But he deserves the credit bc credit is due. My husband walked in the back doors of the courtroom a prisoner looking at a very harsh punishment, a life as a convicted felon and walked out the front door of the courthouse free & clear. I believe my husband's trial was his last as an attorney as he ascends to Superior Court Judge. Thank you Mr. Broadie best of luck in your new position and I promise we will never meet again.
