Let my review speak for itself. Michael MacNeil is the attorney for any parent that has struggled against the oppressive laws that are biased and leaning! We all know the struggle is real, and not every family situation is the same, but Mr. MacNeil has the ability to navigate the muddy waters and see clearly what needs to be done. I have worked with Mr. MacNeil on my case for over a year, and he was able to accomplish the seeming impossible task of getting 50% custody. He was able to move fast, list options, and determine what the best course of action would be. His simplistic approach means you don't need to go over every detail, but he knows what details matter and which ones do not. He is able to understand a complex matter quickly, and responds diligently. For anyone out there needing a Family Law attorney, Mr. MacNeil does not work for a large law firm that charges exorbitant fees to pay the partners. Mr. MacNeil knows what he has; a fast-moving, nimble environment where he is able to focus on YOU. He doesn't need to pay a huge staff to perform his work. His ability to charge you exactly what is needed is why I spent only 40% of what my former spouse spent, and she used one of the "big guys". Mr. MacNeil was able to defend me and get a closing on the case that was packed with court warfare that would have taken anyone else down. But not Michael; his steadfast determination was able to keep the pressure on, and we got satisfactory terms when it could have been a lot worse! This is why you avoid some of the large "billboard" law firms out there. My former spouse paid a lot of money for something that she was not able to accomplish, and that was all to Michael's defense. Michael did a great job on my case. He gave me sound advice and made me feel comfortable heading in to my court hearing.
