I wanted to leave an honest review for anyone considering using this law office for a divorce case. Divorce is already an extremely stressful and emotional process, and communication and guidance are very important during that time.

I hired this office for what should have been a very simple uncontested divorce. Before hiring them, I had already completed and drafted most of the paperwork myself through an online system and another attorney, but after getting nowhere for about six months, I decided to hire this firm thinking the process would finally move forward smoothly.

Unfortunately, even with most of the documents already prepared, the process still took several more months to complete. Communication was extremely poor throughout the entire experience. I constantly had to follow up by email just to get updates or responses, and there was very little guidance provided along the way.

A close friend of mine also used this office for her divorce, which was a far more stressful and complicated situation, and she had a very similar experience. She struggled with lack of communication, limited updates, and little direction during an already overwhelming time. At one point, she was relying on ChatGPT and outside research just to understand parts of the process while still paying for legal services.

I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. When going through something as stressful as divorce, you want a law office that communicates clearly, keeps you updated, and helps guide you through your options.

This was unfortunately not the experience that either of us had. I would personally not recommend this office and would encourage others to do thorough research before hiring them.

Tee is amazing! I battled through a 3 year and 4 month divorce. My ex wanted to drag things out and not work with us to settle things (like normal people would). Through the process, Tee stood by my side through my ex changing attorneys 3 times, dealing with likely the worst attorney in San Diego, but Tee through her patience, kindness and understanding was able to help get this resolved as quickly as we could given the circumstances. I cannot recommend Tee and Aloha Law enough. If you’re facing a divorce or custody issues, I highly recommend hiring Tee and her team as they won’t let you down!
