We've had a negative overall experience with The Law Office of Marc Asch.
His communication skills are mediocre. He is unreliable and incapable of respecting scheduled tasks despite having critical deadlines.

A brief description of our situation with him:
We hired him to file a petition for my wife to live with me, getting the appointment to provide the documents and pay the fees was easy. He asked for a full payment upfront and the moment he had it, he started being difficult to reach.
We sent him multiple texts, emails and phone calls, without getting answers for weeks, despite having very little time to submit the case.
Twice, he promised to submit the case 'next week' or 'Saturday', and twice, he ghosted us completely.
Our case was poorly made, there was many typos, missing information, we were misinformed about two forms and missing evidence material. In the end, it is a blessing he did not filed for us.

Some of our communication attempts implied questioning his integrity and imploring him to answer us, simply to have closure about him receiving our texts/emails or not, which those messages were completely ignored for several days/week.
The times we managed to get an appointment in his office, a lot of this time was wasted by him talking about many stories of other clients and situations, he is struggling to focus on the task at hand and he was easily distracted. We were spending 4 hours in his office filing paperwork that could have been done under an hour.

We were at a critical point where we had only a few days left to file and nothing was getting done. He was, once again, ghosting us after promising to file a few days prior.
Once we've had enough, we sent him a notice stating that his representation was terminated and requested our documents back and a refund.
From the moment we asked our documents back to hire another Attorney; He took 4 days to give them back, which brought us a lot of anxiety and distress from being on a critical deadline.
He also kept 11.4 hours of hourly fees from our refund request, which a few of these hours were him telling stories in his office and not actually working on our case, it was an insult.

We managed to find, at the last minute; an Attorney who is very efficient and professional. Our case got built and submitted within a week with the new Attorney.

We tried giving Marc Asch the benefit of the doubt on several occasions, giving him multiple chances. But he did not deliver results, he did not informed us properly nor clearly, he was deliberately ignoring communication attempts for long periods of time, did a lot of mistakes in the filing and stretched the time used for filing with unnecessary conversations.
During these past few weeks of interactions with him, we've lived through anxiety, insomnia, uncertainty, fear, and also felt anger and deep sadness, thinking we might not be able to have a future together because of this.

We do not wish him ill, but we do not recommend him as he is now. He was incompetent for our case from beginning to end.
We pray for him to do better for his future clients.

(Edit)
Mr. Asch, we hired a professional Attorney to help us petition formally, on a critical deadline.
Which you failed to do.
We were not 'extremely high strung'.
We had a very easy case with no complexity and had given you space until you started ghosting us and neglecting our case.

Based on the two other negative reviews, you have been operating this way for years, with the same neglecting pattern.
We do believe you are a good Attorney for the majority of your clients, but to us specifically, you have been extremely incompetent for what little was asked and we thought we would lose all hope for a future together, a devastating feeling.

Let this bad experience be an opportunity for you to consider your future clients; Who are going through a lengthy process simply to be together, and understand their feelings and point of views better; As you are the bridge to their happiness.
