I was asked to give a 5-star review FIVE times, and I think I owe myself and the general public an honest review of my experience with this law-firm.
TLDR: all bills were paid, we got our settlements, but it was an insanely stressful journey from start to finish.
I was in a car accident with my SO in 2023 and signed on with Hudson Castle Inkell law firm at the time. I want to start out by thanking Jason for closing out my case and getting me and my SO reasonable settlement checks. But the process in getting to this point was extremely stressful.
I was getting bills left and right and had to call insurance adjusters and different parties to make sure everyone had the proper information. Somehow some bills weren't getting paid and also some bills were being charged on my work insurance instead of the incident case number. My SO and I stopped receiving treatment because we were so stressed that bills weren't being paid and then was told at the end that we aren’t receiving the maximum settlement because it showed that “we only went to a handful of treatments which showed that we weren’t really that injured”.
I was hoping I could be hands off assuming the paralegals would handle this entirely. But for some reason a new paralegal (3 in total) would be communicating with me and I felt like I had to re-explain my case over and over again. Josh also gives you his personal number to assure you that you can call him with any concerns. He went no-contact after I called him asking for help when the other party’s insurance adjusters came to MY home. In addition, i was told that Josh was leaving the law firm I signed on with and then was told that if I didn't move my case onto his new firm then all my files will essentially be lost and I would have to start back at square one. Until this day, I still haven’t heard one word back from Josh himself.
I recognize this wasn’t a simple case, but as someone who was not a fault at the accident and as a client I wish this experience wasn’t as stressful as it was.
Also, its not a good look to keep demanding your clients for 5-star reviews, not once, but 5 TIMES “before the end of the quarter”
