When I first walked in the office and met our lawyer, Steve Morrow, I was very impressed with how he was talking to us and how he really was listening to what happened to me and Judy. Being involved in the court system for 32 years, I’ve met a lot of attorneys. They would be looking at you, but you could tell they weren’t listening to you. This is not what I saw in our attorney. He was definitely a listener. He could see how distraught we were after our traumatic event. He just wanted us to get medical attention soon as we could. I don’t get scared very easily, but when I saw my wife’s head hit the side of the car and her eyes rolled back, I didn’t know what to do. I just wanted her to be OK. I got so upset that I cried. Afterwards, my wife looked at me and saw my mouth drooping to the right side of my face and I couldn’t get a sentence out. I couldn’t finish a thought. I was scared and that’s why I went to the hospital. It’s very comforting knowing that somebody has your back. I definitely know we made the right choice with this firm. After a separate incident when I fell and hit my head, I’ve been very confused. I’m scared and in a lot of head and neck pain that doesn’t go away. I did the exercises I was instructed at physical therapy, which wasn’t helping. I’ve continued doing the home exercises they gave me. My neurologist said it takes time. My whole life I’ve been in control of everything I’ve faced in life, but if anybody can help me get through this it’s Steve.
