The Elder Law Firm of Robert Clofine

I was seeking help with getting details on legally transferring my mothers home to my brother who has lived with her for years now that she needs to go to a long term care facility. Mr. Confine listened to my situation and said the first option would be to have my mother's doctor sign a letter stating that the care my brother provided helped to keep my mom out of a nursing home. He told me there are other options we could explore if this didn't work out but this was the best option to start with. The doctor refused to sign the letter. When the lawyer sent me the results he included that they "will take no further action in this matter". How can they charge $500 to write a letter & then drop you? I reccomend finding a different elder law attorney.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I contacted the firm to get a POA for my husband and discuss asset protection in case my husband has to go in a nursing home. Atty Clofine is fantastic! He explained everything to me, answered all my questions, did not rush me, provided excellent service and did not try to sell me more than I need. He made what I thought was going to be a difficult and stressful process, easy. We have a plan in place should need arise for my husband and a plan for my future needs as well. Atty Clofine is genuine and truly wants to help people. His staff is kind, caring and professional. Highly recommend! After our consultation I felt tremendous relief. A little back story, I contacted another firm and was quoted a ridiculous amount of money for a 'plan' I may not ever need and was treated with judgement. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else for elder law advice.
