I would recommend everyone steer clear of this firm. I do not think he (Kellin Cooper) is honest, and I will explain why. I do research and disclose funds that are due persons that do not know about them. I get a percentage of this as my fee. It is honest and tediously hard work. I sometimes use a DocuSign agreement before the disclosure, but sometimes, if I think someone is honest, I will forego the formalities and trust them. I then disclose the funds due. After Kellin Cooper insisted that no one owed him money, I asked him if he was honest. He said his "word was absolutely good". I told him if I would prove that he was owed money, and as a man of his word, would give me one third as a research fee for my trouble. He said he "was a man of his word, but no one owed him money." I then revealed that he was owed money from Solano County in excess of $2,400. Instead of agreeing to pay my portion, he revealed that he would "donate it to Solano County", which is ridiculous. People do not usually donate tax or government fee refunds as a philanthropic gesture to the local government. Beware, I believe this to show that he is not honest. Please see the attached picture showing that the money due from Solano was legitimate, and collectable with a simple form now that he knows about it. I did do the research. I foolishly believed he was a man of his word. I believe I earned my fee, most others are happy to pay my fee for the disclosure of funds they did not know were coming. I believe that a lawyer should be trustworthy in all things, and if he cannot be trusted, he should not be your lawyer. He stiffed me for $800 after he said he was a man of his word. Please choose another lawyer. if he will stiff me, I would think that you cannot trust him to handle your affairs. Thank you.
