Steven H. Wetter, Attorney at Law, P.A.

Glad to see that he's helped many people, but this review is based off of my experience. Most of his positive reviews come from DUIs or some other misdemeanors. Most of his negative reviews come from people who got charged with felonies, and unfortunately I'm one of them. I won't go into detail about my case, just how he handled it. After the first 2 weeks, when he received his money and got all of the info/paperwork he needed from me, I could not reach him at all. I would call him just to have his assistant answer and say, "I'll have him call you tomorrow". This happened the entire 6 months, and he'd only call me back to tell me, "still waiting". He finally called me to tell me about the plea deal, and manipulated me into taking it. He tells me, "it's a no contest plea, you're good". Well, the day of, as I'm walking to the podium he whispers to acceptthe plea, he goes, "oh youu need to plead guilty, only way it'll work". And most of the other things he told me would be able to happen, werent able to. I've never been in trouble with the law, and after paying this man nearly 7k, I expected some guidance, and put my faith into him. He never even listened to the audio and video proof I had that would corroborate my story. I didn't realize how little he had done until the prosecuting attorney asked me, "Did he go over the evidence against you? Did he go over your defense and the evidence in your favor? Was he there to answer any and all questions? Has he kept solid and consistent communication with you" And in my head I'm saying, "he didn't do any of that" but he told me before to answer all of their questions as a yes, saying, "You have a family, a business, a home, I
You can't afford to go that long. At least this way, you know you wont be going at all." He played on my fear knowing that way, he wouldn't have to actually do any work . I know since I'm a felon, most of you won't care about what i said , but please don't trust this man with your future. So I'd highly recommend going somewhere else. Felonies are definitely not his forte.

I got a speeding ticket in Babcock Ranch for allegedly driving 20 over. Steve was able to get it dismissed. Thank you Steve!
