Ms.Sparkman genuinely cares about the children and fights for what is right, not what is easy. During one of the most overwhelming times of my life, she brought clarity, strength, and hope. Every interaction with her was positive, supportive, and reassuring—-Something no other attorney has done for me.
I truly wish I had found Ms Sparkman sooner in my case. She is nothing short of a miracle worker, and I will forever be grateful for her dedication, compassion, and tireless advocacy for my family. I cannot recommend her enough.
She has also been very understanding and has worked with me on making payments, which has taken a lot of stress off my shoulders. I feel supported both legally and personally, and I highly recommend her to anyone needing reliable representation.
In my case, I ended up paying around $40,000 and still feel like I’m starting from zero with a new attorney. I haven’t been given my full file, exhibits, or paperwork, despite asking many times, and now I have court in a couple of days while she plans to appear only to withdraw. I have emails going back months asking for records and explanations of invoices, and still felt like I was kept in the dark until the last minute and then pressured to refill retainers just days before court, when I had no time to regroup or reschedule. Most of the work and communication came from her assistants (who were generally kind and professional), but the actual value I got for what I paid feels extremely low. I don’t feel like my evidence was properly submitted, my case properly built, or my situation moved forward in proportion to the money spent.
I also had serious concerns about her legal guidance. When my ex made what I believe were false allegations and called the police over something as simple as me asking about a Halloween costume, I wanted to go down to Pasco to clarify things and speak with law enforcement. Her advice to me was basically to stay away and not respond. That ended in me being arrested on probable cause, and I’ve been left feeling like I took the hit while she just kept billing. When things went wrong, the blame always seemed to land on me—on what I said, what I did, or how often I contacted the office—while any success was framed as her “saving” me. Yet 90% of the actual work (gathering evidence, organizing, pushing for updates) I felt like I had to do myself.
Emotionally, working with her reminded me a lot of the dynamic I was trying to get away from in the first place. There were times she would call repeatedly, clearly frustrated, and talk down to me in a way that felt more like being scolded than being advised. For a “boutique” firm with big signs all over town, I expected professionalism, clear communication, and a sense of partnership. What I personally experienced was high fees, constant pressure to pay more, last-minute scrambling, no meaningful access to my own records, and very little sense of real support or strategy tailored to my situation or budget.
All of this is just my opinion and my experience, but I feel completely misled and financially drained, and I wouldn’t trust or recommend her again. There are many other attorneys in Tampa who, in my view, can get you the same or better results for a fraction of the cost while treating you like a human being instead of a never-ending payment source. If you’re considering hiring her, I would strongly suggest getting multiple other consultations first and really listening to your gut.
