My family has worked with Whitney since 2020. What I like most about working with Whitney is her professionalism, that she quickly responds to my questions and concerns, and that she is always happy to put legal terms that I am unfamiliar with into language that I can understand.

Deeply disappointing experience.
When they can’t handle your issue, they’ll casually redirect you to the Oregon State Bar Lawyer Referral Service, and that alone should be a warning. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT call that referral service unless you want to be insulted, dismissed, and disrespected for absolutely no reason.

I’m writing this review is because Southwest Law Group sent me straight into that nightmare, and I genuinely wish they hadn’t. That referral alone makes them guilty by association. If they read their reviews, I hope they take this seriously and stop sending people into the same humiliation I had to deal with. No one deserves that.

Many estate planning websites (Will&Trust, Nolo, etc.) claim it's easy to simply download their forms and have AI walk you through the fields. After purchasing a book on Estate Planning and filling in the worksheets, I learned that creating a Trust on our own without human guidance and support would be difficult and could result in a useless Trust. After reviewing different estate planning law companies, I picked SW Portland Law Group and scheduled an online appointment with Lindsey Daniel. Lindsey is so easy to work with -- she's quick to respond to any questions online and provides clear comprehensive answers and examples (I like to read responses via email vs talking on the phone). My husband and I are very happy with our Trust and new knowledge imparted to us by Lindsey. She has been patient with us as we ask the same questions again because going through this process was like drinking from a fire hose. It's hard to know and retain everything, but Lindsey has been there for any additional questions and is extremely supportive... which is what you'll need going through this process!
