Scott Brooks is a clever, creative, and kind lawyer. He and his team saw me through an incredibly long and arduous divorce process. The team does do a lot of the day to day work, and in my case there was a lot, but they check in with him frequently as I personally witnessed. They are excellent, and part of the reason I retained his firm. My divorce was incredibly convoluted and emotional, and they kept me tethered and on track, and Finally my divorce is settled. Thank you to Scott and his team!

I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Scott Brooks law firm. I have been represented by Tamara Grossman both before and after her arrival there for my child custody case. She is the third lawyer I’ve used over the years and by far the most communicative professional lawyer I’ve ever experienced working with. Working closely with her for over a year and a half, I actually didn’t dread having to take her calls. She’s fun, understanding and never once led me astray of what to expect with my case. I will not hesitate to use her and Scott Brooks’ firm again if needed in the future.

After taking some time to reflect after my case, taking time to review. I hired Scott’s law firm in part because of his reputation and public position as Mayor of Coral Springs. Unfortunately, after working with him for over a year, that became one of many reasons I would never hire him again.

My case was not particularly difficult or even was contested. It was supposed to be a straightforward temporary custody matter that simply required attention to detail and proper follow-through. Instead, the case was riddled with mistakes, missed filings, ignored court orders to compel, two dismissals, poor communication, and questionable billing practices.

Scott seems largely occupied with his responsibilities as mayor while staff members run the day-to-day operations of the firm. Although most of the staff were polite, they appeared inexperienced, and unable to properly monitor the court docket or ensure deadlines and court requirements were being handled correctly.

The most disappointing part of the experience was Scott himself. I found him arrogant, dismissive, and at times dishonest in his dealings with me as a client. I trusted this firm with an important family matter and deeply regret that decision.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to thoroughly review their case management practices, billing, and look up his court history before retaining them. I mean, look up my name and you can see how bad the docket was

Scott and his team are absolute professionals, that will both assist and guide you through your personal legal needs, by providing accurate and relevant advice.

I’ve known Scott as both an attorney and community leader, and he is someone who truly cares about the community he serves. He is actively involved in efforts that help the youth and the community and consistently gives back his time and energy to helping others. He is approachable, professional, and dedicated to public service. I highly recommend Scott.
