Steve was amazing, super professional and always well prepared. allow me to tell you what happened at the end vs the beginning to start with at the mediation the judge opened his conversation with Steve and I by saying, "i have presided over five thousand mediations and arbitrations and your brief is in the top ten I have ever read". now to the beginning, I submitted a four-page summary of what happened to me at the company I worked for. most companies were, will send a letter take our cut. when it got to Steve, we had approximately a two-hour conversation. During that time, he asked very pointed questions to which I had not thought off. the questions were probing in that my cancer diagnosis and having had covid were being used to discriminate again me. Some of the incidents and there was at least six Steve was able to show me how this was linked to my ailments and he was correct. I thought they had it out for me period. Steve was able to show me the direct link to my cancer at first and covid later. Over the time we worked together, Steve was very thorough and we had several frank discussions that prepared me for the depositions and the mediation. It was a sobering experience as I learned a lot from Steve and how this discrimination and termination was linked to my cancer and the two times I had covid. I was always very well prepared via Steve's questions playing the role of the lawyer for the other side. Never got coached on what to say. Always tell the truth as it is on your side Steve always told me and in the end Steve was solid. We did have a great settlement which was higher than we both expected. I have since recommended Steve to any one of my friends who asked who I talk to for legal employment advice.
