I hired this attorney for my son paid him in full upon hiring him and he literally NEVER showed up for his court appearances! He made promise after promise that turned out to be bold faced lies!! This Attorney Richard Thomas is exactly what every person fears when they hand thousands of dollars to an Attorney, I can honestly say without a doubt my son would have been better off with a public defender, DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN IF YOU VALUE YOUR FREEDOM AND MONEY…. I’ve NEVER ONCE written a review about someone or there business good or bad,,,, in my 53 years on this earth I’ve never once written a review about someone or there business until now THAT IS HOW TERRIBLE THIS ATTORNEY REALLY IS!!!

The bottom line is rich knows what he is doing, I have retained this experienced man as counsel and I am fully confident in his ability, regardless of the outcome of my situation. Some of the reviews on here are biased and full of malicious intent, my family has used Richard in several family law cases and the outcome is always fair, in the end there is really only so much counsel can do. He is not the judge and cannot stop parties from doing dumb things. In my opinion he is worth consulting.

This is more about the Family court system at this time not so much the attorney. From a Grandparent point of view watching his son and granddaughter go through marysville family court. It's a farce ! My son has followed the lead of this Attorney and the court just to continue to be shown his daughter's best interest isn't good enough. The Childs father and grandfather drug tested themselves and it came out Negative yet the mother tested positive. The court's solution was to discredit the test from the father and independent company and send CPS out to the Grandparents home . The Grandparents and childs father again had to take another drug test that still came out Negative. This Attorney asked his client the father to take a hair follicle test of the child . The hair follicle test was taken after child returned from mothers home and again the court denied the positive results after child returns from visitation with mother . This has cost my granddaughters best interest and my son's. CPS didn't even know what to do when asked by the court to investigate. So now my granddaughter has to take yet another hair follicle test and this time a blood test . This is a lot for a 5 year old . It pains me to see the bold patch behind her head from the last test and to know she has to have another follicle patch taken out along with a blood test because the system can't get it together. Something in family court is broken. My Son has spent all his money and all his time fighting for the best interest of his and his ex girlfriend daughter and now has no more to give financially.
