(07/29/2026) - no discovery-same place in regards to my case has been a standstill especially this full year of 2025 and this 2026 year. Elizabeth Morgan USES COERCION AND SCARE TACTICS EVERY TIME I AM WONDERING WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. SHE FORCED ME TO ENTER A GENERAL TIME WAIVER WHEN I DID NOT WANT TO. SHE SAID IF I DONT IM GOING TO PRISON THAT DAY! For the past 6 court dates I have been asking Elizabeth Morgan to drop my case in accordance with California Codes, and she always says this phrase "if I do that your going to go to prison for 3 years" EVERYTIME!!! THIS CANT BE LEGAL. SOMEONE HELP IM THINKING OF ADDRESSING THIS MATTER PUBLICLY BECAUSE I know someone must be dealing with this too.

These public defenders have dragged their feet, lied and not responded to any email I've sent them in the last 8 months. They've given me different business cards with false or inactive emails. They will Not give you any Discovery pursuant to Brady v. Maryland(1963). Which in turn violates the Sixth Amendment of the United States Constitution. Furthermore, section 20 of their contract with Fresno county is what's called a Hold Harmless Clause. In layman's terms, they will not address or acknowledge any Prosecutorial Misconduct, in my case specifically, Fresno Police tampered with Evidence, and F.A.C. will not Send me or show me the body cams. Because it will Violate their Section 20 of their contract. It's a shame this is where our Tax payer dollars are going. God Bless. Going to file a Marsden hearing and get rid of these clowns.

Strongly suggest seeking outside lawyers if you can afford it. They have switched my lawyer atleast 5 or 6 times, my case was a DV case in which the man physically assaulted me several times, the judge then put a protection order on me and he kept coming to my mother's home to drag me to where he was and called the police on me. I've never been arrested prior to being here in fresno and dealing with this man. He has, however, been homeless and selling drugs on the streets for 10 years. The switching of the lawyers is very frustrating. The lack of communication prior to the court date is frustrating. On top of having to deal with the physical and mental issues this man has caused me, I can't get them to represent me properly because there's hardly any communication. The first layer I met with through them told the judge that the so called "victim" was my "baby daddy" which is incorrect and didn't even let me speak before she started speaking rudely to me. It's very confusing. Over all there's some good lawyers there and some that will not represent you properly and are jaded. I think maybe 2 of the 5 or 6 lawyers were genuinely trying to help. The rest I was just another case to. I honestly just finally gave up trying to work with them after the 3rd lawyer and started just taking the plea the judge offered because it feels pointless. That's extremely difficult because the other party that the judge deemed "the victim" knew exactly how to get away with the physical, mental, and financial damage he caused me because he knows how to play this system.
