Very unorganized and unprofessional! Was told one thing by a lawyer then got a new lawyer then they decided to split law firms and nobody knows who my lawyer is. Almost 3 years and still case is not finished and after payment I received a letter saying that my lawyer withdrew from my case! I would never recommend them and never work with them again! And neither King law firm bc that is the law firm that was merged with them! The worst experience ever!

My case was a 50B DV order which Rick Gammon handled for me . This was back in July 2022 . Basically I agreed to a 9 month no contact order with my ex. At the time Rick was about to go out of the country and we would have had to delay trial until Oct. the last thing he told me was you will hate yourself for not letting me go to trial. Four months later that's what happened. My ex claimed I had violated the order by sending her a text message at her job which was in Franklin county. As the case goes I'm arrested on Nov19th. I called Rick once getting out of jail and he referred me to another attorney which was just as good as himself. Bottom line was found NOT GUILTY.
So in April the DV order expired it come time to get my firearms retuned . Rick had promised to file the motion to return them to just let him know when April 2023 rolled around. He was busy in another case and couldn't file it, I can say this he didn't forget me and was true to word.
So he turned it over to Cheyenne Leeuwen within the firm to take care of this matter which was a pretty simple case. But let me say this Cheyenne was prompt and very tentative with responding to emails phone calls whatever she was on top of it . I could not have ask for a better person Rick to fill in for you . THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY AND SERVICES. Cheyenne Thank You for everything you did . My firearms I picked up this afternoon with no issues.
If you are ever in need of an attorney and you do not contact Raleigh Family Law I wish you the best because that is exactly what you will have passed up.

Sonya DuBree, and her team at Raleigh Family Law, exceeded my expectations with every interaction. Everyone I interacted with was friendly & professional. They were very responsive with my e-mails, phone calls, and were able to work me in for even last minute appointments, when needed. They send out monthly itemized bills, which I appreciate. She has a lot of connections to other professionals that she consulted a few times, which was very helpful. They did all of the hard work for my consent orders, property distribution, child custody, alimony, and the final divorce paperwork during the year of separation.

When we needed to go to court to keep custody, Sonya and her team stepped up again and were amazing! It was a lot of work, but they made sure we were thorough and they were a few steps ahead so we met all deadlines, even when they were tight. Sonya is a bulldog you want on your team. She will fight for you. I was able to get and retain more than I thought was possible, during separation and when we won in court. I highly highly recommend her to anyone needing a lawyer! I wish there was a way to rate Sonya and her team higher than 5 stars, she is truly gifted to say the least. The help that Sonya and her team provided me during one of the hardest times of my life cannot be measured on any scale.

Very professional, but beyond that.... they are authentic. They were patient, empathetic, and straight forward with my complicated divorce with 2 young children. My divorce involved a intense custody battle along with equitable distribution of assets.

At a time that I could not fight for myself mentally or emotionally, Sonya fought for me during every stretch of the way. It was almost therapeutic talking to her and she has a genuinely caring heart with the knowledge and experience that surpasses anyone you will meet in this profession. I am forever grateful that I found her office and I will never forget such a pleasant experience I highly recommend Sonya and her team.
