Psonya Hackett, Attorney

Psonya is an Excellent attorney!! She has incredible work ethic and has so much experience ! I always recommend her !

My best advice is to run not walk in the opposite direction of Psonya Hackett. Her slothful work ethic is known even among her attorney colleagues. She failed me at every point including her failure to be present at my mediation. She was in court in MS while occasionally appearing in the Zoom session. Needless to say, the mediation went nowhere. It was a complete waste of money and time. She hardly EVER answers questions; and worst of all, she did not appear in court on my behalf when she was supposed to. Space would not permit that I list all the reasons she should not be chosen to represent anyone. She even seemed to be a bit envious of my "Doctor" status, consistently referring to me as "Miss." Even the simple know that "Miss" is for the unmarried. (She was supposed to be representing me in a divorce case.) Months into retaining Psonya, I had to instruct her to let the courts know that she was my attorney. I simply cannot make this stuff up! In fact, I tried, at every turn, to give her the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the year and a half spent with her "representation" was a colossal waste of time and money. Nevertheless, things work out as they should.

I am just so very thankful that I was blessed with the recommendation of Atty. Mary Morgan Whitfield. From the first moment I met her, I knew that she was a professional who had my best interest at heart. When I awoke the day after retaining her, she had sent me four emails indicating that she had informed the courts, Psonya, and opposing counsel that she was now my attorney. She is simply outstanding! Do yourself a favor and pay the few extra dollars to get a professional, excellent attorney. In the meantime, pray for Psonya. I certainly will.
