We were very disappointed with the initial consultation and the level of service we received from this law firm. Based on our experience, the $300 consultation fee did not provide much value, particularly for a family-based immigration matter. We ultimately decided not to move forward with the firm and would recommend that others also consider attorneys who specialize more extensively in this area. I cannot speak to the services provided by Ruby or Cynthia, as we did not work directly with them. However, our consultation with another attorney at the firm left us with very little confidence or certainty about how our case would be handled. As clients, my wife and I were looking for basic clarity regarding when our case could be started, the anticipated timeline, and how the firm would prioritize and manage it. Unfortunately, we left the consultation with more uncertainty than answers. We also did not feel that our case had been thoroughly reviewed before the consultation. We understand that attorneys can become ill and have demanding schedules, including court obligations and other cases. However, after paying $300 for an hour-long consultation, we expected a more prepared and substantive discussion about our specific circumstances. What concerned us most was the repeated impression that our case would not be a priority and might not be worked on for another two or three months depending on the firm's availability. We understand that no attorney can guarantee an immigration timeline or outcome, but clients should still be given reasonable expectations regarding the firm's own process, availability, and communication. Ultimately, we are glad that we did not proceed with the firm. For anyone considering legal representation for a family-based immigration matter, I would recommend carefully comparing firms and finding an attorney who can provide clearer expectations, stronger communication, and more confidence in how the case will be managed.

Ruby and Ximena were absolutely great to work with.
