My first time getting a ticket and I'm 50 years old , it was a bit nerve wracking to me, however, I was recommended to Kelly D Benavides Law firm , this Law firm is highly respected and here I am today to second that !! The lawyer who represented me ,was very patient in explaining the process to me which put me at ease , as I was very nervous in the courtroom.
My case was dismissed. I would recommend this Law Firm to anyone who asked.

(8/28/2025 @8:30pm response to owner's reply received 8/28/2025 10 hrs ago): I didn't choose deferred - that was what the court offered to me, initially. I asked the people that were sent to "represent on behalf of" Benavides Law Firm to try to get it dismissed. They reset the court date 3 or 4 times, spanning over almost a year's time, each time it was a different person "representing" me, and each time I'm having to miss work for no resolution. The last person to "represent" came back to me with the exact same offer the court offered and said it's the best you all could do. Thereby, I didn't have a choice, nor the time to keep missing work just to end up having to pay the ticket ON TOP of having already paid this so-called law firm for "representation".

Pro tip: If you get a citation, just go to the courthouse to pay the ticket (even if needing to setup a payment plan - they'll extend time with no extra costs), pay the ticket off and don't get another citation for 90 days, then it won't go on your record. Otherwise, it will go on record and extra fees will incur. Don't waste your time or money trying to get your moving violation dismissed through this firm.

I spoke with Betty, whom answered the phone, regarding my speeding ticket. She explained the process and accepted my payment over the phone. She said they'll contact the court to inform them that I've hired them to represent me in the case and will send me info via email. I hope the rest is as smooth a sailing as my initial interaction with Betty. I'll update the review upon the outcome, as Betty said my original court date of 1/20/22 will be reset to another date. I pray that they can successfully and promptly get my ticket dismissed.

The rating speak for itself. She was nasty unprofessional, use file language. You can make a point without being nasty. I guess she is nice to individuals that look like her. She would never have been my choice.
