Please do not hire this lawyer. He is rude, and extremely sarcastic .When I told him a little about mussel and I explained that I moved to Alabama with my large savings, he smirked on the phone, stating, “Where did you get that money”? As if a Hispanic like myself cannot work nor save money. This was my first EVER can accident in my life at 49 years of age, and with Stage IV Incurable Cancer, with a 2 year wnd of life diagnosis. He did not explain anything to me about the entire process, neither did his secretary. If you didn’t answer his Emails and Texts, he relentlessly does not stop, as if you do not possess a life outside of your phone and e-mail. Not a patient person, not even with a Cancer patient who just went through an accident with her daughter. He don’t contact me for over 1 month, didn’t tell me that he wanted me to go to Physical Therapy. I am Chemo, my daughter is sleeping with me after the accident because of PTSD, he finally calls me……sarcastically on the phone, as if laughing at me with his tone, “You know you need to be seen, you know you need treatment”? “Seen”? “By Who”? I didn’t even know what he was talking about. They are the ones who find the Physical Therapist for the client, they are the ones who set up your car rides, my car was totaled. Yet he never once explained any of these things to me. He acted as if I knew all of it, and he smirked on the phone as if I was an idiot for not knowing. I had to tell him to please stop, and explain things to me in a better way. It got so bad after this, I told his secretary that I didn’t want to speak to him nor communicate with him any longer, that I only wanted to go through her. And she was so stressed…..his secretary quit his law firm. I spoke to her later at her home, and she stated that she was so tired and exhausted of working for him, he was toxic, and a narcissist. After she left, he had trouble scheduling my rides to therapy, and I was just dying to finish this all. Then he hires another secretary who flat out lies to me, and in the end tells me that both checks are ready to be sent to me, when in fact, mine was not at all, I had to wait weeks. He tells you, “Your check is $15,000”, no, your check is $14,800 and change. Please be exact, do not minimize what the actual check is. Then, there was a last check for only $200 or so, that I had no clue about, because again, he doesn’t communicate with the client. Go somewhere else, not here. Especially if you’re a woman. He stereotypes women. Even his new secretary was already telling me on the phone that he told her the last secretary didn’t know what she was doing. When the last secretary was the kindness and sweetest girl ever to me. He even wanted her to DRIVE ME TO MY PHYSICAL THERAPY APPOINTMENTS!!!! That’s NOT in a secretaries job description, are you kidding me? I told him, no, and he paid for my Lyft rides to the appointments, and then took that off the settlement. How can you demand that? No compassion, and zero empathy. Two things you NEED, in dealing with car accident clients, ESPECIALLY ONE DYING OF CANCER. Horrible experience, I am so glad I am done with this bully. BULLY. Period.
