I am a CDL license holder and these guys helped me out immensely with my case. As my case got dismissed the attorney reached out to me and informed me that he will be issuing me a partial refund because the case was relatively easy. I did not expected them to do so. They been beyond fair with me and had my situation taken care off. Highly recommend them.

I do NOT recommend this law firm based on my experience. I hired them for a non-contested, no children divorce and over $5000.0, and 9 months later, I am still not divorced!
This couldn't have been an easier divorce, as we agreed on most everything, and what we didn't agree with was negotiated between us and or simply needed further explanations to answer questions.

A 3-month delay happened from the beginning with staffing issues; however, I trusted them to proceed and guide me through a difficult time promptly and efficiently as promised. However, mistakes were made, and communication was difficult or delayed, as they put other cases of importance in front of my case. The extreme lack of preparation and procedures cost me both an extraordinary amount of time and money. They continuously charged me to set up mediation, when it was not necessary, especially when we didn't even have a settlement agreement to see if we even needed to mediate! I was charged with correcting their mathematical errors and the lack of listing assets. I was continuously charged for redo conversations, redo paperwork, and a lack of giving me the needed information that would have prevented delays.

For 9 months, I never even saw a rough draft of the settlement agreement until days before the final court date, which was incorrect, had missing assets, and still needed revisions. I have spoken with several other law firms, and all of them stated they have rough drafts of settlement agreements put out before mediation, and most definitely weeks before final hearings.
I realized that when I was rewriting the settlement agreement myself to return to them, I needed a new lawyer.
At $5000.00, I should not be the one writing my own settlement agreement! Then, considering I am not divorced yet, there would be even more money and time to pay this firm. I could not take the chance of wasting another 6 months for them to drop the ball again.

I feel very taken advantage of by this firm. They financially took advantage of me, delayed the process, and filed paperwork with the courts before having a signed settlement agreement that would have prevented further delays.
This firm put me in extreme distress in more ways than one.

For anyone considering this firm, I suggest looking carefully at other options before making your decision.

I hired a lawyer from Perkins Law Firm expecting to either be awarded the house through litigation/mediation or, at worst, sell it and receive my rightful 50%. My ex and I were dual military, had no children, and only one shared asset—the house. Despite this, the lawyer’s advice left me in a worse financial position than when I started.

I was advised to sign the home over without legally binding protections, which completely stripped me of any leverage. Now, my ex is behind on payments, hasn’t paid the HOA, the home won’t sell, and the mortgage remains in my name. This has left me unable to use my VA loan again, put my credit at risk, and jeopardized my military benefits.

I paid over $8,000 in legal fees, only to end up trapped in a financial mess that could have been avoided. At this point, I could have just given my ex the home for free and saved myself thousands. It honestly felt like the lawyer was working in his best interest, not mine.

Perkins Law Firm responded to my review claiming legal proceedings are ‘unpredictable,’ but there was nothing complex about my case—no children, no disputes over assets, just one house to resolve. The real issue was poor communication, excessive billing, and ineffective representation that ultimately failed to protect my interests.

If you’re a service member dealing with property disputes, proceed with extreme caution. I would not recommend Perkins Law Firm to anyone in the military.
